The Center for Community Health Development - Accomplishments: 2001-2007

We welcome you to the Center for Community Health Development! This website provides up-to-date information for all who are interested in learning about our efforts to strengthen community capacity in order to improve population health.

As a team, faculty, staff, and members of the Center are working to identify and understand the processes influencing the health of the community, and how we can work collectively to increase health status, decrease inappropriate utilization of services, and strengthen the physical, fiscal, social and human resources of our communities. We invite you to periodically visit us—even if you are not directly working with one of our projects—to obtain information about our struggles, successes, and failures as we work with communities throughout Texas.
